āAsk, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.ā ā Matthew 7:7ā8
Prayer is not passive. Jesus commands us to ask boldly, seek diligently, and knock persistently. This is not a formulaāitās an invitation to come closer. God is not annoyed by your askingāHe is honored by it.
Notice the increasing intensity: Ask ā a verbal request. Seek ā an active pursuit. Knock ā a deliberate persistence. Jesus calls us to pursue the Father with confidence, because He is not hiding from us. Heās waiting to open the door.

š A Diamond of Truth
God delights in your pursuit of Him. Heās not a reluctant deity needing to be persuaded. Heās a loving Father eager to provide what is best. Sometimes the answers come quickly, other times slowlyābut never carelessly. He gives what we would ask for if we saw what He sees.
Keep praying. Not because Heās hard to convinceābut because Heās that worth knowing.
