Jesus warns us to stay alert. False prophets don’t arrive waving banners of deception—they blend in, often using spiritual language and appearing harmless. But their message is poison wrapped in honey.

- Beware – Greek: prosechete (προσέχετε, pro-SEH-he-teh) – “pay close attention, guard against.”
- False prophets – Greek: pseudoprophētēs (ψευδοπροφήτης, pseu-do-pro-FAY-tace) – one who pretends to speak for God but does not.

- By their fruits – Not just words, but character, conduct, and long-term results.
- Twist Scripture to fit culture instead of calling culture to repentance.
- Promote self over Christ, comfort over holiness.
