Key Verse:
β€œGuard your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” – Proverbs 4:23 (ESV)

The Discipline of Holy Boundaries

Holy boundaries protect what God is cultivating within you. They are lines drawn out of wisdom, not fear β€” out of discernment, not selfishness. Boundaries guard the heart from influences, relationships, or habits that weaken spiritual vitality.

Jesus practiced boundaries. He withdrew from crowds to pray, limited His inner circle, refused manipulative demands, and walked away from destructive expectations. If the Son of God used boundaries, how much more do we need them?

Holy boundaries help us say no to what drains us so we can say yes to what God desires. They protect purity, preserve peace, and prevent spiritual drift. A boundary is not a wall that shuts out love but a gate that protects wisdom.

πŸ’‘ Insight:
Boundaries are not selfish β€” they are stewardship. Guard what God has entrusted to you.
