The Discipline of Integrity
Integrity is consistency β living the same in private as in public, the same on Sunday as on Tuesday. It is truth in the inward parts, honesty in action, and purity in motive. The disciplined life refuses compromise even when compromise looks convenient.
Integrity flows from fear of the Lord, not fear of being caught. Joseph resisted temptation saying, βHow then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?β (Genesis 39:9). His loyalty was first upward, then outward.
God honors integrity with stability, clarity, and influence. When your character is anchored in truth, storms cannot uproot you. A clean conscience is a soft pillow.
Integrity is doing right when no one sees β because God always sees. The unseen life is the truest life.
