Key Verse:
“You will be my witnesses… to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 (ESV)
The Discipline of Witness
Witness is not optional—it’s our identity. To follow Christ is to represent Him. The discipline of witness turns private faith into public light, proclaiming the gospel through word and work.
Jesus promised power for this very purpose: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” Evangelism is not performed in human strength but empowered by divine presence. The Spirit makes timid hearts bold and fearful lips faithful.
Our witness begins where we are. Every conversation, workplace, and relationship becomes a mission field. We are not called to save, but to sow—to plant truth and trust God with the harvest.
Consistency gives credibility. When our lives align with our lips, the message rings clear. The discipline of witness is daily—living so that others see Jesus before we ever speak His name.
A true witness doesn’t just talk about the light—they walk in it. The world notices when faith shines quietly and consistently.
