The Discipline of Worship in Spirit and Truth
Worship is not a moment in a serviceβit is a posture of the heart. It is the soulβs response to the worth of God. The discipline of worship calls us to adore Him not only with lips but with lives, to exalt His name in every season and setting.
Jesus taught that true worship must be βin spirit and truth.β Spirit points to sincerity and passion; truth points to understanding and obedience. One without the other is incomplete. Worship that moves the heart but ignores the Word is shallow; worship that knows the Word but misses the heart is hollow.
Worship flows from revelation. The more we see of God, the more we will respond in awe. It overflows through praise, prayer, service, and surrender. Every act of obedience is an anthem declaring that God is worthy.
Worship transforms us. As we behold His glory, we are changed into His likeness (2 Corinthians 3:18). The Spirit turns songs into sanctification and adoration into alignment. Worship is not entertainmentβit is encounter.
Worship is not about where you are but who He is. When the heart bows, heaven draws near.
