💎 Daily Diamonds – Spiritual Disciplines: The Stewardship of Time

Key Verse:
“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” – Psalm 90:12 (ESV)

The Stewardship of Time

Time is one of the most valuable gifts God gives—and one of the easiest to waste. Every sunrise is a reminder that life is short and stewardship is sacred. The discipline of time management is not about busyness; it’s about purpose. We are called to invest our time in what matters most: the kingdom of God.

Paul wrote, “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15–16). Wise believers don’t merely count the hours—they make the hours count.

Jesus lived with divine purpose. Every moment had direction. Yet He was never frantic, never hurried, never distracted. He moved at the pace of obedience. Time stewardship begins when we align our calendars with God’s priorities.

The secret is not adding more hours—it’s surrendering the ones we already have. Each day is a deposit we can’t withdraw. When we spend time in prayer, Scripture, worship, and service, we are storing treasure where moth and rust cannot destroy (Matthew 6:19–20).

đź’ˇ Insight:
You can’t save time—but you can redeem it. The clock is not our enemy when Christ is our focus.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, teach me to value my days and invest them wisely. Help me to use time as a servant, not a master. Let my schedule reflect Your priorities and my hours bring glory to Your name. Amen.
