Daily Diamonds – God’s Promise: According to His Will

God answers prayer with wisdom greater than our understanding.

“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.” (1 John 5:14, ESV)

Confidence in prayer does not come from certainty about outcomes, but from trust in God’s will. John anchors assurance not in what we want, but in who God is. When our requests align with His purposes, we pray with confidence, not fear.

God’s will is not a barrier to prayer; it is the foundation of hope. A loving Father does not withhold good—He wisely directs it. His will flows from perfect love and perfect knowledge.
