Daily Diamonds – Heaven: A Place Of Uncursed Labor

Revelation 22:3 (ESV) – “No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.”

From the beginning, work was not a punishment—it was a privilege. Before the fall, Adam was given a garden to tend, not to toil under. Sin brought the curse. Thorns, sweat, and sorrow twisted our labor into pain. But in Heaven, the curse is gone, and labor is restored to what it was meant to be—glorious service to the King.

Heaven is not passive. We won’t be idle. Revelation says plainly: “His servants will worship Him”. The word for worship here (Greek: *latreuō*) means to serve in devotion, to work as an act of reverence. We will serve Him with joy, in beauty, and with undistracted hearts.

God is making all things new—forever. This continual, creative unfolding of His glory includes us. We will explore, build, sing, teach, govern, and glorify—all under His leadership, with no fear of failure, fatigue, or futility.

Heaven is the land of fulfilled purpose—eternally employed by our Master, joyfully working in the service of our King.

Revelation 21:5 (ESV) – “Behold, I am making all things new.” (Present tense, active and continuous)

2 Corinthians 4:17–18 (ESV) – “For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison… for the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”

Matthew 25:21 (ESV) – “You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”
