Revelation 22:5 (ESV) – “And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.”
Night can be beautiful—but it also represents fear, isolation, sorrow, and uncertainty. So much of our pain happens at night: anxious minds that won’t rest, hospital rooms dimly lit, grief that swells in silence. But in Heaven, there will be no more night.
This isn’t just about the absence of moonlight. It’s the end of all darkness —emotional, spiritual, and physical. No more sleepless nights. No more depression. No more shadows of doubt. Why? Because the Lord Himself is the light. His presence is so powerful, so personal, so pure—it drives away every shadow.
Isaiah prophesied, “The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended” (Isaiah 60:20). Heaven will be a place of clarity. Safety. Joy. Nothing hidden. Nothing confusing. Nothing cold.
The Lamb who is our Savior is also our Sun. His love won’t just brighten our path—it will brighten our entire existence. And that light will never go out.
Heaven is not just the end of night—it’s the beginning of endless day.
John 1:5 – “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
Isaiah 60:19 – “The sun shall be no more your light by day… but the Lord will be your everlasting light.”
Psalm 30:5 – “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
Life Application: Are you in a night season? Take heart—night doesn’t last forever. One day, the darkness will be gone for good. No more fear. No more sorrow. No more unknowns. The Lamb is your light—and His light is eternal.
