Daily Diamonds – Heaven: A Real Place

Hebrews 11:10 (ESV) – “For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God.”

In a world filled with uncertainty, the promise of Heaven shines like a diamond—solid, brilliant, and real.

Heaven is not a wish, a dream, or a vague comfort for the dying. It is a real destination, handcrafted by God Himself. Jesus didn’t say, “I go to imagine a future for you,” but “I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2). That word place—topos in Greek—means a physical location, not a metaphor.

Abraham believed it. The prophets longed for it. Jesus confirmed it. And the Spirit reveals it. Heaven is a city, a country, a home with rooms designed for God’s children. It’s not found on any map, but it is as certain as the One who made it.

So today, don’t set your hope in passing pleasures or temporary treasures. Lift your eyes. The road is hard, but the destination is glorious.

Heaven is a real place—and it’s being prepared for you.
