Daily Diamonds – Heaven: The Last Tear

Revelation 21:4 (ESV) – “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore…”

Every tear you’ve cried matters. Each one has been seen, recorded, and remembered by the God who cares. But one day soon, there will be a final tear. The last tear. And it will fall into the hand of God Himself.

Heaven is not indifferent to suffering. It is the remedy. We will not enter glory without scars—but they will no longer ache. The pain will be past. The sorrow healed. The wounds glorified.

No more funerals. No more heartbreak. No more empty chairs or lonely nights. Just the overwhelming joy of a place where sorrow can no longer survive.

The first tear fell in Eden. The last tear will be wiped away in the New Jerusalem. Between the two stands a cross—and because of that cross, your weeping has an expiration date.

Psalm 30:5 – “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”

Isaiah 25:8 – “He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces…”

Life Application:
Don’t let your sorrow convince you that God has forgotten you. Every tear you’ve cried has a future answer. One day, the last tear will fall—and joy will rise in its place. That day is coming soon.
