Revelation 19:12 (ESV) – “…and he has a name written that no one knows but himself.”
Jesus wears many names—Faithful and True, The Word of God, King of kings. But in Revelation 19, we learn He also bears a name known only to Himself.
This is no contradiction. It is a reminder of mystery. Even in glory, there is more to Jesus than we yet understand. We will see Him, worship Him, and know Him fully—and still be awestruck by what remains only His.
This name is not hidden from us—it is held by Him. A sacred reminder that even in eternity, Jesus is still greater than our greatest comprehension. He is eternal, inexhaustible, ever worthy of worship.
Isaiah 9:6 – “…his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God…”
Philippians 2:9–10 – “…bestowed on him the name that is above every name…”
Life Application:
You may not understand everything about Jesus—but you don’t have to. Trust in what’s been revealed, and worship Him for the glory that’s still beyond your grasp. In Heaven, mystery and majesty meet.
