Daily Diamonds – Heaven: The Temple That Is No More

Revelation 21:22 (ESV) – “And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.”

From the tabernacle in the wilderness to the temple in Jerusalem, God’s dwelling was always a designated space—holy, set apart. But in Heaven, the Temple is gone.

Why? Because God is no longer represented by a structure—He is present in fullness. The Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple. No more curtains. No more separation. All of Heaven is holy ground.

There’s no need for a sacred space when all space is sacred. The very presence of God fills every corner of the city. Worship will no longer be something we go to—it will be where we are, forever.

John 4:21–24 – “…the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father… true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth…”

Exodus 25:8 – “Let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst.”

Life Application:
Worship isn’t confined to a building. Even now, we are being made into living temples. But one day, there will be no walls at all—only the unfiltered presence of God. Start living today like your heart is His sanctuary.
