Jehovah is God’s personal covenant name, and Rohi (רֹעִי) means “my shepherd.” The root ra’ah means “to feed, to tend, to care for.” This title depicts God as the One who guides, provides, protects, and carries His flock.
It’s more than a job description—it’s a reflection of His heart. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, said: “I know my own and my own know me… and I lay down my life for the sheep” (John 10:14–15).
