Welcome to Part 10—the closing chapter of our journey through Jude. 💫 After exposing false teachers, exhorting believers to remain in the love of God, and calling us to rescue the perishing, Jude ends with worship. These last two verses lift our eyes from the battle to the throne. We see not the deceivers, the doubters, or the dangers—but the glory of the One who holds us fast. Let’s soak in this doxology of hope and praise from Jude 24–25.
📖 Scripture: Jude 24–25 (ESV)
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord,
be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
🛡️ He Is Able to Keep You (v. 24)
“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling…”
After nine parts of warning, fighting, building, and reaching—Jude reminds us where our true security lies. It’s not in our strength. It’s not in our discernment. It’s in Him who is able. 🙌
This is the same Greek word used in Romans 16:25—“to Him who is able to strengthen you.” Our Savior doesn’t just help us recover from a fall—He can keep us from falling altogether.
You are not kept by your willpower—you are kept by His grace. He is able to hold your soul when everything else shakes.
🎉 He Will Present You Blameless (v. 24)
“…and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy.”
The word “blameless” means spotless, without fault. This is not our current condition—but it will be our future standing. He will not just forgive us—He will present us. And not with shame—but with great joy! 😭➡️🎉
Jesus doesn’t just want to save you—He wants to delight in you. When He stands you before the Father, it will be a moment of rejoicing, not reproach.
This recalls the priestly work of presenting a spotless sacrifice before the altar. Jesus, our High Priest, will present us as His blood-bought, Spirit-kept, radiant Bride.
🌟 All Glory to the Only God (v. 25)
“To the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord…”
Jude closes by anchoring our worship in the singular supremacy of God. He is not one among many—He is the only God, revealed fully through Jesus Christ. To Him belong:
- 👑 Glory – The radiant display of who He is
- 💼 Majesty – His unrivaled excellence and beauty
- 🔧 Dominion – His right to rule over all things
- 🛡️ Authority – His sovereign power to act, command, and uphold
This is true not just in eternity past—not just in the future—but right now. And forever. Amen. ⏳➡️♾️
🗝️ Key Truth
The letter of Jude begins with being kept, and ends with being kept.
Verse 1: “To those who are called, beloved… and kept.”
Verse 24: “To Him who is able to keep you…”
This is our security, our strength, and our song: He called us. He keeps us. He will carry us home with joy.
