Introduction
12 week study
Today we begin a journey into knowing God. Into discovery of ourselves and where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going. Each week we will meet to explore the depths, the heights, and the lengths that God reaches for us. He never intended for us to be separated from him in this life or the one to come. So, with all our hearts let’s seek Him and His Glory.

Week 1: The Bible: God’s Word
Scripture Passage: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 – “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
Week 2: The Nature of God
Scripture Passage: Psalm 145:3 – “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.”
Week 3: The Trinity
Scripture Passage: Matthew 28:19 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Week 4: The Doctrine of Creation
Scripture Passage: Genesis 1:1-31 – The entire creation account.
Week 5: The Fall of Man
Scripture Passage: Genesis 3:1-24 – The account of Adam and Eve’s disobedience and the consequences of sin.
Week 6: The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
Scripture Passage: Colossians 1:15-20 – Description of Christ’s preeminence and role in creation and redemption.
Week 7: The Holy Spirit
Scripture Passage: John 14:16-17 – Jesus promises the Holy Spirit as the Helper.
Week 8: Salvation and Redemption
Scripture Passage: Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Week 9: The Church
Scripture Passage: Ephesians 4:11-16 – Description of the roles and unity of the church.
Week 10: The Bride Covenants (Baptism and Communion)
Scripture Passage: Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 – The Great Commission and the institution of the Lord’s Supper.
Week 11: Eschatology (End Times)
Scripture Passage: Revelation 21:1-4 – John’s vision of the new heaven and new earth.
Week 12: The Final Judgment
Scripture Passage: Revelation 20:11-15 – The Great White Throne Judgment.
The introduction today leads us to many questions. Maybe more questions than answers. Please save all of them up for discussion as we seek to know the I AM, That I Am. B
