God’s peace is not the absence of trouble, but the assurance that He is near.
“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18, ESV)
When life feels heavy and strength is thin, God does not withdraw. Scripture reminds us that the Lord draws close to the brokenhearted. His nearness is not reserved for our best moments, but for our most painful ones.
Peace does not come from understanding everything that is happening. It comes from knowing who is with us in the middle of it. God’s presence steadies anxious hearts and brings calm where fear once ruled.
You may feel overwhelmed, but you are not alone. The God who saves is the God who stays.
God’s peace grows strongest where His presence is most deeply known.
Prayer: Lord, draw near to my heart today. Let Your presence quiet my fears and restore my peace. Amen.
