No one knows the day or the hour (Matthew 24:36). Jesus calls His people to be ready, watchful, and faithful at all times (Matthew 24:42-44).
The rapture is the moment when Christ returns and the dead in Christ rise first, followed by living believers being caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
Revelation 21-22 describes the final state — a renewed creation where God dwells with His people, death is gone, and every tear is wiped away.
